Let’s just face it. Owls are totally in right now. There are owl themed nurseries, stuffed animals, and yes… pillow boxes.
If you haven’t already, go check out my post about DIY Owl treat boxes! These two definitely go “wing in wing” (yes, I know… bad joke hahaha).
So let’s get started!
- Pillow box template (or if you’re feeling lazy or need to need a boat load you can just get them from here! Gotta love Amazon!)
- Owl picture or cutout
- Glue Stick
- Hot Glue Gun (for your pillow box – it keeps it together better)
- Treats (or mini lotions and hand sanitizer from your local Dollar Tree)
As usual, I am ever grateful for wonderful people who know how to make templates and then share them with us! I was able to get this pillow box template over at Homemade Gifts Made Easy (seriously, it doesn’t get any easier than this). She even shows you how to put together the little box.
My owl cutout comes from my Cricut machine (I absolutely love this little, or should I say huge, device). I bought Cricut Access so I have access to loads and loads of fun designs that I can cut out on demand. Woot-woot!
After you put together the pillow box, just glue your owl to the front, fill with some treats and BAM. All done!
So simple right?
“Whooooo” would have thought?
